We are excited to teach people various RPGs here at Storyweaver Games. Below you will find currently planned Learn To Play (L2P) games. If you don’t see one planned for the system you are looking to learn please reach out to us, we may be able to organize one. If you have 4 players ready to learn we will do a special one off for your group.
We are currently in the middle of 2 multi session learn to play events for Mothership and Call of Cthulhu, contact Jason at the store to see if you can join mid event.
Learn & Play Avatar Legends RPG
Saturday February 21st 5pm to 11pm
Create and play as a new hero in the Avatar Legends world in this one shot from the core book. In The Vanishing Act, you and your companions find yourself in a familiar city in search of a diplomat’s missing daughter.
To start, we’ll decide which of the five eras our game will take place in and then create characters. Several playbooks will be available to choose from, each having their own set of principles, abilities, and stats. The playbooks will be mostly pre-filled out to save on time, but the character’s backstory and identity will be left for you to fill out. Character will be specialized in bending one of the four elements, fighting with weapons, or utilizing technology!
Below is a brief description of each of the five eras Avatar Legends offers. On the sign up, please check any era that you are interested in playing in!
The Kyoshi Era – A dangerous world tempered by Avatar Kyoshi’s efforts. Pre-technology and pre-geopolitics. Bandits and growing nations.
The Roku Era – A time of uneasy peace being kept by Avatar Roku’s guidance. Accelerated development. Tense relations, international uncertainty.
The Hundred Year War Era – A brutal and difficult time with no Avatar. A vicious, slow, and heavy war. This dark time is the era that most closely resembles the world depicted in Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The Aang Era – An optimistic world focused on progress through the work of Avatar Aang and his international team. Reparation, reconstruction, and healing.
The Korra Era – A modernized, burgeoning world kept stable by Avatar Korra. Imperialism, ideologies, information. This kinetic, loud time is the era that resembles the world depicted in Legend of Korra.
